Return & Refund Policy

At Vancouver Umbrella, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you're not completely happy, we're here to help.

Returns

We offer a  7-day return policy for products purchased directly through our Shopify online store.

You have 7 calendar days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be unused and in the same condition you received it
  • Be in its original packaging
  • Include all original parts, accessories, and tags
  • Be accompanied by your proof of purchase or order confirmation

Items that show signs of use, damage caused by the customer, or are returned incomplete may not be eligible for a refund.

How to Start a Return

Please do not send items back without contacting us first.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as Vancouver Umbrella is not responsible for returned packages lost in transit.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival.

If your item is:

  • Damaged during shipping
  • Defective
  • Incorrect

please contact us as soon as possible at jennifer@vancouverumbrella.com with your order number and photos of the issue. We'll evaluate the situation and work quickly to resolve it.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we'll notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that your bank or credit card provider may require additional processing time before the refund appears on your account.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at jennifer@vancouverumbrella.com.

Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Products damaged through misuse, abuse, or normal wear and tear
  • Products returned without all original parts or packaging
  • Items returned more than 14 days after delivery
  • Custom branded or personalized products (unless they arrive defective or damaged)

Purchases from Other Retailers

Only products purchased directly from Vancouver Umbrella's Shopify online store are eligible for returns through us.

If you purchased your product through another retailer, distributor, or marketplace, please contact them directly regarding their return policy.
